Kristina Hiemstra, Director, has been with Interprofessional for nine years. She grew up in Sweden and holds a Bachelor of Adult Education from Linköping University. In advance of working for the University of British Columbia she was with the Burnaby Board of Trade. Kristina enjoys most sports including skiing, hiking and volleyball. She also loves traveling. |
Katia Selezeneva |
Katia was born and raised in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia and moved to Canada in 2002. She has graduated from UBC Sauder School of Business specializing in Human Resource Management. Katia loves traveling and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys practicing yoga, reading and swimming. |
Jo Nam |
Jo has joined the IP team, initially as a UBC Sauder School of Business co-op student, and has returned for a full-time position. She has a major in Business, and a minor in Philosophy, all at UBC. She likes to read, a lot, and listen to music. |
Cris Ohno |
Born in the Philippines, Cris grew up most of her life in Canada. Her family consists of husband, two grown up daughters & a mini dashchund. Cris enjoys walking, playing volleyball, gardening, watching her family play hockey and spending time with families. |
Yolande Chang |
Yolande joined the IP team for two marketing co-op placement terms before rejoining as a full time program assistant. She graduated from the Sauder School of Business with a major in Marketing and a minor in International Business. She loves to travel, especially to warm exotic locations with endless beaches. |
Natalie Kardum |
Natalie has recently joined the IP team and holds a BA in History from UBC. She also holds a master's degree in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy from Goldsmith College, London UK. Natalie enjoys films, travel, music, cooking and volunteer work. |
Sandy Beeson |
Sandy is an Englishman who grew up in the lush greenery of Yorkshire. After studying Journalism at the University of Winchester he moved to Vancouver in 2012. His passions in life are music, steak, cracking puns and enjoying football/soccer. |
Gabriela Chan |
Gabriela has recently joined the IPCE team as a marketing co-op student from the Beedie School of Business. She is excited at this great opportunity to learn about non-profit marketing, and event planning. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling and trying new food. |
