CPD Credits

The University of British Columbia Division of Continuing Professional Development (UBC CPD) is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME) to provide study credits for continuing medical education for physicians. This course has been reviewed and approved by the UBC Division of Continuing Professional Development. This course is an Accredited Group Learning Activity eligible for up to 23.0 MOC Section 1 credits as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canda. Each physician should claim only those credits he/she actually spent in the activity.

This program meets the accreditation criteria of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). The main conference has been accredited for up to 16.25 CEU hours and the Pre-Conference has been accredited up to 6 CEU hours.

The Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation has approved the 7th International Conference on FASD Research: Results and Relevance 2017 for 22.25 core CEUs.

This program is approved by the Law Society of British Columbia for up to 22.25 CPD credits.


The breakdown of hours per day of the conference is as follows:

March 1 (Pre-Conference) – 6 Hours
March 2 – 6 Hours
March 3 – 6.5 Hours
March 4 – 4.5 Hours

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance stating the amount of educational hours.
