Bursary for Professionals
A limited number of partial registration fee bursaries are available to professionals working with, or in the area of, young children and/or families. We apologize for not being in a position to extend bursaries to students qualifying for the student registration rate and family members.
The bursaries will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis according to the date and time the bursary application is received by email or fax in our office. Some priority will be given to individuals who have never attended the Early Years conference in the past.
How to Apply:
A complete application must include the following:
- A letter outlining:
- how attending the conference will benefit you (professionally);
- if you have attended this conference in the past (if so, when);
- A completed registration form, including session choices (on the last page of the conference brochure).
Please note that this is a partial bursary of a maximum of $100 per individual. Rates will be applicable to the early-bird rate if application was submitted prior to the early-bird rate deadline, and late rate if after this early-bird date. Please also note that the bursary will not cover travel, accommodation, or other associated costs.

Bursary for Families on Vancouver Island
We are pleased to announce that bursaries were available for families on Vancouver Island. The funding was provided by Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island and preference was given to families who have children with special or complex needs. Please note that funding was limited and the application has now been closed.
Applicants will be notified by Monday, November 30, 2015 if your application was submitted prior to November 18, 2015. You will be notified by December 18, 2015 if your application was received prior to December 4, 2015.
Bursary recipients will be selected by Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island staff.
