For three decades, UBC has been committed to the concept of interprofessional continuing education in the health sciences—a multidisciplinary approach to learning where several professions come together to exchange ideas about various health issues. In recent years, this concept has evolved to include members of the public, who are often patients and family members facing the challenge of a particular disease. You can help maximize the impact of these conferences, by making a donation to support participants who could not attend otherwise.
Your contribution will allow us to make bursaries available to cover registration costs for family members or health professionals who otherwise would not be in a position to attend conferences. If you wish to have your donation go to a specific initiative, please contact Cris at cris.ipce@ubc.ca.
