How to Write Effective Learning Objectives

Learning objectives are specific, short-range, and relatively concrete. They are not a description of the content of the presentation, but instead are what the learner attending the presentation will be able to do differently if they attend the presentation. Avoid the use of vague verbs such as “understand”, “know”, “appreciate”, “familiarize”, “gain knowledge” or “learn about”.
